Ingredients
- 1 cup of cream
- 6 eggs
- 1 pack of bacon, cooked and chopped up
- 1 cup of ricotta cheese
- 1/3 cup of grated parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper
- ½ of a medium tomato, finely chopped
- 1 clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 1/3 c parsley, finely chopped
- 1/4 c chives, finely chopped
- hot sauce (I used Frank’s), season as you see fit
- 1 pie crust (You can buy it store-bought, but I recommend making them home made ahead of time and freezing until you need them)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
2. Roll out pie crust and shape it into a greased pie dish. The pie dish should have a bottom that can be removed.
3. Sprinkle the bacon onto the bottom of the pie crust.
4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, cream, and hot sauce.
5. Mix in the tomato, herbs, garlic, salt, pepper, and cheese until combined
6. Add the mix into the pie crust
7. Bake in the oven for 30 minutes with a sheet pan on the rack below your pie tin to prevent spillage that can smoke. Once baked, remove it from its tine and let it cool on a slotted rack. After it is cooled, enjoy!
