This balm is deeply nourishing and moisturizing yet non-greasy. Its luxurious, buttery texture is coupled with a heavenly scent of lavender and lemongrass essential oils. Made with Alberta grass-fed suet tallow, it helps create a barrier between your skin and the harsh elements and is “all purpose” because it can be used all over your body, including your hands, lips, and face.
Our All-Purpose Tallow Balm differs from our Lip + Cheek Balm because it is not made with beeswax and therefore is not as stiff. It is more absorbable and easier to apply all over.
Alberta Grass-Fed Suet Tallow:
Grass-fed Suet Tallow is another word for purified beef fat. It is used in skincare because it has similar properties to our skin’s natural sebum and is rich in oleic acid. This means that it is highly compatible with absorbing into our skin on a cellular level, making it incredibly hydrating and nourishing. When prepared properly it is also non-greasy.

Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil
This oil is derived from the seeds of the jojoba plant. It is technically not an oil, but a wax ester meaning that it has a similar structure and composition to sebum, making it the perfect ingredient to balance out your skin’s complexion - it protects and moisturizes the skin without clogging your pores or leaving a greasy feeling. In addition, it has low levels of polyunsaturated fats as compared to other oils, meaning that it is more stable and less prone to oxidization, thus making it the ideal addition to our tallow-based product lines that prioritize this type of fat composition.
Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E oil is an antioxidant that acts as a barrier to seal in moisture and smooth out skin. All-in-all it heals dry skin, scars, eczema, and treats fine lines and wrinkles.
