All Purpose Tallow Balm: Unscented

This balm nourishes, soothes, moisturizes, and locks in moisture, yet is non-greasy and free of any unnecessary chemicals and additives that harm your skin over the long term. Made with Alberta grass-fed suet tallow, it helps create a barrier between your skin and the elements and, can be used all over on your face, hands, and body. It is unscented, meaning that it contains no essential oils, making it ideal for those with extremely sensitive skin. Though not overpowering, it still has a natural scent of tallow.

Our All-Purpose Tallow Balm differs from our Lip + Cheek Balm as it is not made with beeswax and therefore is not as stiff. It is more absorbable and easier to apply all over.

Instructions: Apply AM or PM. Allow time for proper absorption. A little goes a long way! Ensure that you store your balm between 18 and 23 degrees Celsius. Storing it at high temperatures can cause it to melt and potentially lose its original consistency.

Alberta Grass-Fed Suet Tallow:
Grass-fed Suet Tallow is another word for purified beef fat. It is used in skincare because it has similar properties to our skin’s natural sebum and is rich in oleic acid. This means that it is highly compatible with absorbing into our skin on a cellular level, making it incredibly hydrating and nourishing. When prepared properly it is also non-greasy.

It is ideal for those on both ends of the skin spectrum

It benefits those with skin conditions like eczema, psoriasis, rashes, burns, scarring, and dry skin, because it restores the skin’s natural barrier to bring it back into balance and harmony.

Its balancing properties also make it beneficial for conditions related to oily skin because it helps regulate our sebum to prevent breakouts.

Organic Cold-Pressed Jojoba Oil
This oil is derived from the seeds of the jojoba plant. It is technically not an oil, but a wax ester meaning that it has a similar structure and composition to sebum, making it the perfect ingredient to balance out your skin’s complexion - it protects and moisturizes the skin without clogging your pores or leaving a greasy feeling. In addition, it has low levels of polyunsaturated fats as compared to other oils, meaning that it is more stable and less prone to oxidization, thus making it the ideal addition to our tallow-based product lines that prioritize this type of fat composition.

Vitamin E Oil
Vitamin E oil is an antioxidant that acts as a barrier to seal in moisture and smooth out skin. All-in-all it heals dry skin, scars, eczema, and treats fine lines and wrinkles.
